Whether you’re an experienced beader or just starting out, explore beadworking classes at the American Indian Center.
Our free classes teach a variety of beadworking styles and techniques that will allow you to create earrings, necklaces, medallions and more! All basic materials are provided at no cost.
These classes are free and open to anyone in the community. Everyone is welcome; you do not have to be Native to attend.
The American Indian Center is fiercely committed to uplifting Chicago’s Native community by creating spaces where our culture thrives, our voices lead, and our future is built on the strength of our people.
We stand in solidarity with BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized groups, working together to fight for justice, equality, and empowerment.
Through collaboration, advocacy, and cultural education, we are dedicated to building a future where all communities are seen, heard, and thrive together.
Whether you’re donating, volunteering, or attending our Food is Medicine Gala, your support helps uplift Native voices and make a lasting impact. Together, we can continue to strengthen and grow our community!
Celebrate and support the American Indian Center on Oct. 26, 2024, at the Newberry Library. Enjoy fine wines, hors d’oeuvres, a presentation by Indigenous chefs, and a silent auction. Your attendance helps empower and uplift our community.
