“I think a lot of the times when we go into outdoor spaces, as a native community, we’re just struck by the fact that there’s all of these monuments of white supremacy that we have to face, and very rarely do we get to look at something that’s reflective or representative of our community,” Pochel said. “We need more outdoor spaces that are representative of the community here.”
