Damien Kardaras

Damien was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1977. He went to several grade schools, including a  CPS gifted education program offered at Burbank elementary. Damien went to Loyola  Academy for high-school and received a bachelor’s of science from the Milwaukee School  of Engineering. After some years of working in his field, he switched gears to help support  the family accounting business started by his father. Since 2004, Damien has been and  owner and licensed accountant at Alphameric Accounting in Lincolnwood where he and  his team serve a wide range of clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation  services.  

Damien is member of the National Accountants Society and the National Association of  Enrolled Agents.  

In addition to his regular day to day management of Alphameric Accounting, Damien is also  an active shareholder in an IT Consulting Firm, a Physical Training facility, a commercial  real estate leasing company, a land and farm acquisition and leasing company, and an  Airbnb STR management company.  

Damien is also the past president of the Lincolnwood Chamber of Commerce and Industry (2016-2023), the past president of the Friends of Lincolnwood (2016-2023), and the vice president of the Nafpaktiaki Fraternity of Chicago (2020-present). In each role, Damien  served a vital role in providing his accounting skills to cuts costs and maximize profits for  various functions of each group.  

Damien feels blessed to have a 10-year old son and a 2-year old daughter which serve as  the driving force for his daily dedication to business and non-profit obligations.  

In his free time, Damien enjoys reading, playing piano, saxophone, and guitar, and enjoys  adventures in nature with his children at every opportunity. Damien is also a lover of  cuisine and enjoys hunting new and exciting foods in the city as well as cooking, working a  barbecue, and distilling spirits in his back yard.  

Damien hopes that his experience in the accounting field as well as his experience in the  non-profit world will provide the AIC with sustainable financial guidance and a path toward  financial independence. He is excited to join the team and looks forward to seeing positive  growth.
