Press Release: American Indian Center of Chicago New Website and Logo
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
February 3, 2020
American Indian Center of Chicago new Website and Logo
Chicago, IL. For this year’s annual strategic plan, one of the goals was to “Draft and approve a communications policy that allows AIC to tell its own story.”
After a few months of work, the American Indian Center is proud to announce the launch of its new website and logo. We’re hoping that this redesign helps improve the web experience and better serve the needs of our community and organization.
Along with the new website, we also have introduced a new logo. We wanted to make sure our rebrand reflected the values of the American Indian Center and our mission “To promote fellowship among Indian people of all Tribes living in metropolitan Chicago.” We wanted our logo to represent all nations, ages, and genders, in the hope to create a more welcoming space for all.
We acknowledge that there have been some technical difficulties in the past few weeks with our website, so we thank you all for being patient as we’ve adjusted to this new platform. We hope you get the chance to check out our new website and stay up to date on everything happening at the center.
Last but not least, we would like to thank Dakota artist David Bernie for designing our new logo and website, and for taking the time to help us with the transition.
