Welcome to our Stitch and Sew Class, where creativity intertwines with tradition under the expert guidance of facilitator Ronnie Preston. Join us for an enriching journey into the art of sewing and regalia making, where participants learn to create stunning pieces that honor Native culture and heritage.

Led by Ronnie Preston, a skilled artisan with a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, this class offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich tradition of regalia making. Whether you’re a novice or seasoned sewer, Ronnie’s patient instruction and passion for the craft will empower you to bring your creative visions to life.

Throughout the sessions, participants will learn essential sewing techniques while working on a variety of projects, including ribbon skirts, ribbon shirts, and regalia pieces. From selecting fabrics and patterns to mastering stitching and embellishment, each step is a testament to the beauty and significance of Native textiles.

In addition to honing your sewing skills, the Stitch and Sew Class provides a space for cultural exchange and community connection. Share stories, exchange ideas, and forge friendships with fellow participants as you embark on this creative journey together.

Whether you’re crafting regalia for ceremonial purposes, personal expression, or community celebrations, this class offers a supportive environment where tradition meets innovation and where every stitch is a tribute to Native heritage.
